Parker is trying his first taste of rice cereal tonight and I am helping him. I am a culinary expert after all. Just look at my lunch "experience" today.

Check out the centerpiece I arranged in the umbrella hole of my picnic table. It sets quite a nice ambiance.

We ran out of bubbles this morning which could have been a major crisis. So Mom tried to save the day by making a homemade solution from a recipe off the internet. Crisis averted. This stuff was great. I'm actually not very good at "gently" blowing bubbles with the regular stuff, but ANYBODY can make bubbles with this solution. It is super bubbly!

While store bought bubbles wouldn't work with my "technique" shown here, I was able to make all sorts of bubbles with the homemade stuff!

Nice, huh?

"What Mommy? Time to clean up? Okay, just let me shove the bubbles into my bug bucket."

Homemade bubble solution:

1 cup water

2 Tbsp light corn syrup

4 Tbsp dish soap

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Mama took me to Dairy Queen to pick out Daddy's birthday cake. She let me pick out the one I thought he would like best. This was my choice! I know how much Daddy loves cats so it was the natural choice.

I'd better test it to make sure it taste yummy for Daddy.

Happy Easter! I was SO excited to see this waiting for me when I woke up this morning!

Yeah! Time to tear into it!

Peanuts! Amazingly, I am still satisfied with receiving peanuts in my Easter eggs. We'll see how much longer that lasts.

Easter Egg hunt with all my cousins! Every year Mom makes us gather for a photo. Our collective attention span is that of a baby gnat. This was the best she could do!

And we're off!

We painted Easter Eggs tonight. They sure looked pretty...

Such beautiful colors are really hard to resist...

Yup, that's right. I tried putting the egg in my mouth before Dad could stop me.

For those of you who haven't decorated eggs in a while, they soak in a vinegar solution!

And while I was disgusted, that didn't stop me from trying the egg a second time!

Do you think the Easter Bunny will try to hide my tongue with the other Easter eggs?

Mom, Tania, Sophie, Audrey, Parker and I went the Easter Egg Hunt at the Rec Center. First they had music in the gym followed by the hunt outside. I was a bit overwhelmed as you can see! (That's me in green.)

I'm groovin' down to the music here. Can't you tell by my hands? Okay, maybe it was more of a sway rather than "groovin'."

The musicians brought out boas to wear. Not exactly sure why, but who am I to turn them down, right?

Finally starting to warm up and clapping along with Audrey (yellow shirt) and Sophie (on Audrey's lap)

Whoo-hoo! Let the hunting begin!
