I'm a big brother! Little Parker came home today!

Really Mom, he's here to stay? Yeah!

Believe it or not, Parker did this with his arm on his own. We're best buddies already!

Pay attention Parker as I tell you the secret to wrapping Mom and Dad around your little finger.

We made bird feeders tonight. It was a great (albeit messy) time!

Spreading peanut butter on pine cones is my specialty.

Of course, it's always important to keep ones work area and tools clean.

Just like putting sprinkles on a cake, but bird seed doesn't quite taste as good.

Daddy used his "fishie" pole to hang the feeders next to our kitchen window. I forgot all about the feeders once the fishie pole came out. It had to be pried from my hands!

Did Santa really come?!?!? (Did you notice that I don't go anywhere with out my "fishie" poles?)

I must have been a good boy this year! Santa gave me the horsey I've been asking for.

He also left lots of fun stuff in my stocking like stickers and coloring books.

And animal crackers!

Does it get any better than a box of Mickey Mouse band aids??

A slinky!

Santa even brought the puppies new toys!

December 24, 2009

Mommy and Daddy let me open up some of my Christmas presents tonight!

Mommy made me 2 blankies. A fish blankie...

and a blankie for when I go to a big boy bed!

We didn't really get a good photo of it, but the big boy blankie has jungle animals on it.

Whoa! A dinosaur!

Time for num-nums!

The exact words out of my mouth at this moments were, "Woo Hoo!"

December 20, 2009

We went to the Macy's holiday display today. The theme was Santa's Toy Shop. Mom had a heck of a time getting a photo with me facing forward because I had so much to look at!

This is what I looked like when Mommy picked me up from school today. Apparently sometimes I put down the rocks, balls and fishing poles long enough to play "beauty shop."

I decorated the lower half of our tree today.

It's still have half the ornaments left to put on, but I'm pleased with the progress I've made on it so far.

We went to the community rec center today where I got to meet a real life reindeer.

That's right reindeer, eat up. You have to be strong for your big night on the 24th!

Check out my friend, the pileated woodpecker (aka Woody the Wood Pecker), who has become a frequent feeder in my back yard. ( Mom had to take the photo through the window so it's not a super clear photo.)

Move over MTV, I'm here to entertain! A video montage of some of my favorite tunes. (Warning - it's a five minute video so it may take a little while to come up.)

We went to cut down our Christmas tree today. This is the infamous tractor that took us out to the tree field on a long, bumpy ride.

It was great fun for Daddy and me, but Mommy didn't enjoy it as much being 9 month pregnant. She had contractions for 5 days after that ride! She had to sit around the house for those 5 days just to try to keep the baby in her belly for a little longer! Luckily (depending on your perspective....), after 5 days, everything calmed down and came to a complete stand still.

Mom! Dad! How does this tree look?

I think it's a keeper!

Come on Dad. Let's get to work cutting it down!

Timber!

November 26, 2009

Happy Thanksgiving! Here is the beautiful bird that Daddy smoked.

Jasper made a permanent home on top of Mommy's foot while the turkey was being sliced!

The kids table. Unfortunately I got yet another ear infection last night. Mom and Dad took me into urgent care this morning and I started antibiotics, but I still wasn't quite feeling up to eating much by the time dinner rolled around.

Mom made this turkey pinata for us to whack after dinner!

This is the stick I chose to attack the bird with.

The older kids first tried to get the bird while blindfolded, but that didn't work so great. That was one strong bird!

We didn't have much luck without the blindfold either!

Eventually the adults joined in. Mom, Dad and the others all gave it a whack. Here's Aunt Tania.

Grandpa.

Grandpa's life long friend, Ron.

Eventually, with enough whacks from enough people, we finally made a small dent in the bird!

The mad dash for candy. ( I was content with the lollipop I found!)
