Running away from Mom and Dad at full speed and hiding is really one of the most fun things to do. You can imagine my excitement when I discovered that the Arboretum has a hedge maze!

Today is my 2nd birthday party! I love rocks so Mom helped me have a rock party.

My friends and I hunted for special rocks with toys inside!

We painted pet rocks.

And we ate Big Rock Candy Mountain cake!

The city rec center had a barn yard dance for toddlers and preschoolers tonight. Mom, Dad and I went with our neighbors and had so much fun! They had animals for petting outside and a dance inside.

The 2 videos at the end showcase my dancing talents. During the first video I run around in circles which is all I did for the first 20 minutes or so of the dance. The second one is of me trying to turn the teapot song into a mosh pit. I stared at the cowboy DJ doing the teapot dance for a while wondering what in the heck he was thinking before I decided the dance needed some new moves!

Today is Lane's birthday. Happy birthday Lane! He got this cool new bike from Grandma and Grandpa. I sure had fun biking up and down the street with you and Trace!

Dahlias and roses are in bloom at the arboretum right now. I had fun running around and smelling all the different flowers.

The zoo has a butterfly conservatory on display right now. They were so pretty.

As cool as I thought the butterflies were, I couldn't be pulled away from the frog that spit out water! How can any butterfly compete with that?
