Trace and Grandpa grew us awesome pumpkins this year, but we decided to get a really, really big pumpkin from a pumpkin patch too. I had so much fun picking out pumpkins!
Although I tried my hardest, Mom and Dad just wouldn't let me romp around in the muddy pumpkin fields. I made a mad dash at one point and as soon as I hit that coveted muddy patch I fell to my knees and surrendered to the mud!
For example, do you notice the two tone pumpkin I've found here? I toted that pumpkin around with me EVERYWHERE for days following our trip for fear that someone might try to take it!

The owner showed me how to use the scale. Whoa, did we get some big pumpkins. They weighed almost as much as me!

The owner was so nice that he threw in my little two toned pumpkin for free. Can you believe that?!? He might go out of business with that kind of give away!

This is a first for my blog, but I'm going to make a plug for something. I LOVE the Children's Museum and can't recommend it enough. Mommy can even take me there by herself at almost 9 months pregnant and not leave completely exhausted because there is very little for me to get into trouble with.
Even though it's a bit of a hike to get to, it's so totally worth it that Mom bought us a membership and we have been several times already! Plus, the place is incredibly clean. If you live in the area and have younger children, it's totally worth checking out!
Here are a bunch of photos from a trip there with both Mom and Dad. This doesn't even come close to showing all the rooms and activities they have.
I honed my small motor skills while building a fort with sticks, connectors, and burlap.
shadow puppets,

boat racing/water currents,

manually operated conveyor belts,

and pretending!

You can't see it, but there is a tad pole river next to the fish tank that I had tons of fun splashing in!

Caves to explore!

Peek-a-boo!

(Pretend) Ice fishing!

Building an ice castle!

Rope and slides!

Tunnels to climb through.

Periodically they have playtime in one of the lobby-type areas! They play music, pull out all sorts of sensory and large motor skill toys, and volunteers blow bubbles for us to chase! They also have story times and animal petting throughout the day.
There is so much more that we didn't get to in this trip! You can make your own thunder storm, go shopping in the kid-size grocery store, make dinner in the kid-size restaurant kitchen, create your own music videos, and much more!
